History is my all time favorite subject. I love history because because you can’t move forward if you don;t know where you’ve been. The event I have picked is 9/11. This occurrence is possible the most influential event of our time. This event alone has launched numerous wars and claimed many lives. The USA will never be the same and Muslims like me are being blamed. The USA has singled- handedly invaded two Muslims countries and now wants to go for Iran. Whose to say that they will stop there. America has taken this way out of hand. I was in favor of strategic bombing of Afghanistan, after 9/11, to get Osama Bin Laden because he is a murderer. Instead the USA invades Afghanistan, which was pushing it for me, but then they invade Iraq who had nothing to do with terrorists attacks. Saddam was a bad man, but it was not Americas duty to deal with him.
Now people like me are getting the brunt of the insults. I never wanted this. If you didn’t know this after 9/11 some states wanted to put all Muslim males in interment camps just like the Japanese during WW2. This upset me very much. What have I done to this country, absolutely nothing. Now America is only fueling the fire and soon enough Muslims everywhere will be pushed past there breaking points. I never want to see that day but, I feel it is inevitable coming. Everyday America is in a Muslim country they are only making more enemies then friends. America is upsetting a population of more than a billion people, which most defiantly means trouble.
So in conclusion 9/11 has tarnished the image of Muslims caused many wars and I’m sure many wars to come. The sad part is I can not do anything to help, but pray.”All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke)
