We remember 9/11

It is hard to believe that this is the eight year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. For those of you too young to remember I found this link http://www.frugalsites.net/911/sept11.html that provides a great memorial to those lost.

Welcome back to school! And welcome to Clio's Corner. Who was Clio? She was the Greek muse of history and her likeness (as seen above) sits in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol. We will use this page for quite a number of things this year. I will provide online review for exams, homework hints, as well as links to significant things going on in the U.S. and around the world. National day of Prayer 2009

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
